Default Humming Noise Over Rear Right Wheel

Please can someone help I have a 2007 XKR Convertable Supercharge. The agents here recently fitted a brand new Jaguar genuine Petrol Pump and fuel filter and now there is a terrible humming sound comming from the back right wheel. The agents say it is a faulty pump which is not possible because the parts were supplied by Jaguar in the UK and seals were only opened here by the mechanic.
i have tried everything but cannotget anyone to sort this out. Has anyone else experienced this problem if any one can help with suggestions would be most appreciated.
Many Thanks
Henry

Sounds like either it was installed wrong or it's a bad pump. Sounds like vibration due to a bad mount of the pump in the tank or a noise isolator improperly mounted. My bet is you will need to have the pump pulled and checked.

Don't you have warranty?
What do they say when you let them hear it?

Thumbs up Huming Noise over Drivers Rear Wheel. (Petrol Tank Side)

Thank you guys most appreciated. One says a faulty pump the other says not Seated Properly. No where I am we have to pay cash before they even start. We have quite a few speed humps in our road and I did notice today when strating extremely loud but noise subsides when going over the bumps.
I am not mechanically minded at all and your professional advice is most appreciated.
Rgds, Henry

Those agents who installed the new fuel pump, they should fix it for free, don't you have any warranty /guarantee on the pump and work done?
