Please can someone help I have a 2007 XKR Convertable Supercharge. The agents here recently fitted a brand new Jaguar genuine Petrol Pump and fuel filter and now there is a terrible humming sound comming from the back right wheel. The agents say it is a faulty pump which is not possible because the parts were supplied by Jaguar in the UK and seals were only opened here by the mechanic.
i have tried everything but cannotget anyone to sort this out. Has anyone else experienced this problem if any one can help with suggestions would be most appreciated.

Does it still make this noise when the car is at a standstill? oh and no sign of the noise video.

 

This forum covers the X100 model which ran from 1996 to 2006. Your 2007 XKR is a later X150 model, so you will probably get better luck there with the X150 forum members.
