Saw this ad in Autotrader for a 2007 Jaguar XK8 convertible. Ad says the car is Indigo Blue, but the picture appears to be Kyanite Blue. Pretty color but I thought Indigo Blue was a bit darker.

I could be wrong but I don't think Kyanite was available in '07. Also, I believe Kyanite is only available on the XKRs.

 

My '08 XKR is Indigo Blue and it is, indeed, much darker.

I would have to say it was repainted Kyanite Blue by a previous owner. However, IMHO Kyanite Blue looks better with a darker interior, either all Charcoal or the Charcoal and Ivory interior.

Kyanite Blue was not available in 07. This is probably the picture quality that had disctorted the car. I doubt the car was completely repainted...If it was it was probably in a serious wreck and you should stay away. You should call or visit the store ( if its close) to know for sure. Pictures online can definately be decieving.
