Default Indigo vs Dark Sapphire

Can anyone tell me the difference between indigo blue and dark sapphire? I have looked at many photos online and went to the dealer this weekend and saw a few dark sapphire cars. While I like the dark sapphire, it is a little dark for my taste. The indigo seems lighter. Is this true?

Thanks,

Paul

The reason I ask is that I am trying to find an XKR to purchase, and there is nothing local. I don't want to fly across country and not like the paint color. My first XKR was black, and while striking when clean and polished it was a PITA to keep it that way. My 11 XK was white, and I loved it but want something different this time around. There was a Satellite Grey XKR for sale in Houston that was perfect, but it sold before I could get away to look at it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am also drooling over a Kyanite Blue XKR. That color looks darker and richer than the typical electric blue used by Dodge etc...

I had to get rid of the XK because I needed something larger for work, but that is changing soon so I want to get back into a car that makes me smile every time I walk up to it.

All their blues are great IMO, can't go wrong with any of them.

I agree with Moses, any of the blues are stunning, especially with the blue convertible top and ivory interior.

The blue top just makes a blue XK all that nicer looking. I was so close to a blue XK convertible with caramel interior when looking for my XK. What stunner that one was.

Both are beautiful colours and I also agree with Moses you definitely can't wrong with either color however if your looking for an ultra sporty look consider the Kyanite Blue Metallic

I'm a fan of the dark blues, the light or powder blue was not a desirable choice when I was in the hunt... especially any of them with that blue leather interior trim with the ivory leather

I do like the Kyanite Blue as well. Hopefully I will be able to find something that suites once I am able to make the switch out of my Audi sedan.

I am digging the light blues as well. Can come off a little FL pensioner, but I like it just the same. Actually, I like the pensioner colors.

I have an '11 black XKR and understand your POV relative keeping it perfect. Tough.

I share mosesbotbol love for the "pensioner" colors but I prefer to call them "Bentley esq".

I personally think Bentley has some of the most beautiful color schemes especially on GTC's (may need to have one of those some day) and whenever I see a blue XK (especially with a light interior) my mind says.... Bentley.

When I was looking I found 2 Kyanite Blue cars. One was in Fl. and it was a convert with ivory interior but it was a 2011 XK. The other was in Las Vegas but it had to many miles on it then. I think it was a 2010 or 2011 XKR. I liked the color but not the interior. Pretty car.
