Interesting to see who bought their XK brand new
I bought my 2013 XKR Portfolio new in February of 16. It had a list of 110k and I paid 68k for it then. It now has 44k miles on it and it is not for sale. I have had two people approach me and offer the to buy the car. When that happens I tell them it is not for sale and their response is anything is for sale at the right price. My response is $1m; they in turn agree with me when I tell them the car is not for sale.
I kind of bought mine new.
the car was won in Lotto For Life and I immediately bought the car at a huge discount.
12 yrs now and under 18,000 km

I bought my '12 XKR vert almost-new (the dealership owner drove it for 5,500 miles untitled) in Sept. '11. The window-sticker was just over $109k & I paid $90k out the door. Odo now shows 23k miles. I love the car, but I've reached the point now where I cross my fingers every time I start it up. Sometimes the radio/control screen doesn't come on, sometimes the top acts wonky, sometimes I get a brake-pad warning light (pads are fairly new & dealership doesn't know why). One morning last week the car wouldn't start, for no apparent reason.... and when I tried it again a few hours later if fired right up (battery checked out fine). I don't know what I'll get when I sell it later this year, but I'll feel that it was worth every penny.
