Get any NON-iphoney. It'll work perfectly.
If you for some reason want to keep an iphone (why???), delete the phone from the car, delete the car from the phone, then hardboot the phone and do a hard reset on the car. Repair (re-pair?) the phone and it 'should' work ok.

I second what CeeJay says go Android. It is also very helpful to identify what XK you are driving as to what the year is as well as which engine. Is your car a 4.2 or a 5.0 Litre. Put the model data in your signature and then it will always be there. You will get more meaningful responses that way.

I'll buy your Iphone for $50.00, they work perfectly on my car. Installed in April and never had one single issue.

I will buy your iphone for the $50 you'd give ME, then I'd use it as a fetch-toy for my dog.
