Its Tune, Dyno and Quarter Mile Friday
As we have been discussing tunes, dyno numbers, and actual real world measurable performance figures today I'm doing all three and have baselines of all three as well.
The two baseline dynos were done by different locations, one does not have AFR but I will get that on the post tune visit.
The 1/4 mile times were done in 90 degree weather but I'm not sure of the humidity level that day but it was fairly dry for south Florida. I ran a best of 12.33 at 117 MPH with consistent trap speeds for three runs.
The first baseline dyno was done under 85 degrees on a muggy day not sure of the exact humidity.
The second baseline dyno was done at RageTek a shop that is installing the Eurocharged tune today, and the weather was again 85 degrees with 53% humidity.
My current Engine mods are a cat back exhaust(with a bad baffle) 3lbs Pulley and a tune that never worked.
Its going to be a very long day but I should be able to post all the results tomorrow. I'm also going to the shop that did my first dyno and has nothing to do with the tune sometime tomorrow to see what kind of results I get.
Hopefully this is helpful information for anyone interested in or has questions about the tunes.

What tool did Eurocharge use for the tune? They told me I can keep it in case I never need to reflash. They also said I should get around 70HP with the tune which should bring my 4.2 to around 500HP with exhaust & pulley, not too shabby.

They used some tool connected to a local PC while Jerry tuned the car. Nothing that I could keep.

Think I'm having battery gremlins, the low battery light came on while we were on the dyno and now I have E-Dff, ABS and EBC warnings that won't go away. All codes are clear and the car drives fine except for the above errors and no DSC or Dynamic mode. The driver Window will also not automatically go up anymore.

you wont rest till everything is done. What you scheduled to do in one day I would have allotted a month for that. The tune from eurocharged looks like some big #'s. Congrats. Cant wait to do mine next month. Would have posted last night but seen an xkr-s gt on ebay for 152k and got sick that I already have taken a 25k depreciation. Either way don't want to hijack this thread. Cant wait to see the 1/4 mile times and trap speeds. Hope your getting to the track today. Im on the edge of my seat waiting to the results.

I'm to OCD to wait and I was trying to knock everything out in similar weather situations. I'm at the dealer and they said its the battery.
I wouldn't worry about the hit you've taken on your car, the GT will be a classic. If I find one at a good price I'm picking one up and putting it away. Look back at some of the older jags with super low production numbers and their values. Besides once you get it tuned you will have a Porsche GT3 killer that you will never see anywhere else.

You have a sweet car Russ and I'm sure you will keep this one! In the long run this will hold its value. I can't wait to meet you and see the GT in person.
