Anyone have detail on this notice?

J056NAS1 - Non-Compliance Recall: Reprogram Engine Control Module

I saw it in Topix for my car. It does not show up on the Jaguar USA recall page when I plug in my Vin number.

Mine has it listed on Topix also. I could never find any information so I forgot about it.

 

I just got the recall notice in the mail. It is for 2010-2011 XF, XJ and XK models that may not have the VIN readable through the ODB port. They will re-program the ECU if needed to make sure the VIN is stored correctly.

 

Huh. I'll go check mine now with Tork. Interesting little tidbit.
