Jaguar captured...
Thanks to the entire forum for providing an ideal resource in my quest for my next performance car. When it came time to actually spend my money, Cayman, 911, M3/5/6, AMGs, V8 Vantage, Granturismo, and GT-R all faded. Some just didn't fit me: headroom and/or legroom lacking. Some lacked style, or power. And some just weren't unique enough.
But there was still this...

I'm not the first owner of this car... but I may be its last. A truly engaging drive.

Congrats on one fine looking machine. No other car can match the experience for the money that the XKR or XKR-S offers. Looks soooooooo good I can hear it roar.
I went through a similar process. After a brief ownership experience with a 175 I knew I could not live without another XKR. With in a month I bought my second XKR. It never stops putting a grin on my face. Cross shopped Porsche 911 S, Nissan GT-R, and Maserati Grantourismo. Nothing compares to the engaging driving experience of the XKR and you have the best of the best.
The French Racing Blue most look real sweet in the South Cali sun shine.

WOW Rich!!
Real nice car. You'll love it. Get use to have thumbs up and get some spare time on every ride. To go to the conveniance store to get a 6 pack can take you much longer time now! You'll have to answer a lot of questions going forward!!
Enjoy the ride.

Very kind of you all, thanks.
As I said, I sure do appreciate this forum and its contributors past and present. I'll post up some proper pics when I get a chance to pull out the "real" camera.
In the meantime, a radar detector install at the mirror is on the to-do list... and a lot of get-acquainted driving :-)

That's where I put my detector. There is a switched power fuse in the driver side footwell fuse panel that powers on when you open the doors or unlock the car. It will turn off on its own after a few minutes once you turn off and leave the vehicle.
Nice ride. Welcome to the club. I test drove a French racing blue RS when it first came out- that's when I decided it should be my next car. I went with white, because i like how the black trim and carbon fiber offsets with the white, but I really like that FRB too!
