Jaguar Tattoo
Well after a few years of will i or wont i, i am making the plunge and getting my first tattoo and yes it is of a jaguar. Why ,because i want too, and i suppose i am a long life lover of the cars and all things that are jag related. People might think i'm mad but what the hell. Ive owned a few jag cars now and my next car would be the xkr-s for sure. Have driven ferraris, porsches and such like, but for me the jag is the one i adore the most. Anyway, getting it done next week , was thinking of how i could incorporate something jag car related in the design but not sure how. Will probably leave it as pictured. Can't wait,
The first picture is the design as done on arm' It is a bit dull so i am getting the tattoo colored as in the second picture, with the yellow brownish, white teeth, red tongue, and the blue eyes, should look awesome.

The blue-eyed cat is indeed awesome, however, it's evenly-spotted coat makes me conclude that is not a Jaguar. A Jaguar's coat has large rosettes with spots in the middle:
I think it's probably a Cheetah because of it has evenly distributed solid spots and a long tail, but it might be a Snow Leopard because it has blue eyes. See: https://images.search.yahoo.com/sear...g&action=click Big cats are born with blue eyes that change to their true color (various shades of yellow-orange) as they get older.
Regardless of species (or if it's real or photoshopped), it's still an awesome looking cat! And who will know (or even care) that it's not a Jaguar? Do it!

I read somewhere that a black jaguar is just a colour mutation on the spotty one, and in fact you can see the rosettes in the fur even with the black ones. There you go, and I thought I'd never have occasion to mention that...
As for the tattoo, yeah looks good. I've actually got a tattoo myself (Star Trek TNG comm badge on my shoulder, long story and probably only funny to me) but now that tat's are so trendy in Australia I kind of wish I didn't have it. Not knocking them, but when every one else has them it takes the gloss off a bit.

Not a tattoo guy myself but it is your individual statement. So go for it.

I'm a tattoo guy myself, and the pic you posted was top notch work. My advice is to be very careful who you have do the work, it is permanent! Also, I think doing it in color would take away from the quality. There's something special about a black and white tat like that one. I have many tats, all of them are color but one, and if I had one like that it would be my 2nd black and white.

I would be very spartan in adding any color to your current tattoo. As Chadly said, you got a good thing as it is and I don't see adding color as "something needed".
Anything planned or already in place on your other arm? Maybe that side could be the automotive Jaguar? You'll have animal and machine covered.

In for tattoo tomorrow, thanks for all the feedback guys and will post when done, it is my first and if all goes well i will get another on my other arm and that's it. As for keeping it black and white or colored i am still undecided so will have a good talk with the artist tomorrow. It does look amazing in the black and white.
