When you say "software updates" is there something specific you talking about? If you take it to your Jag dealer they should be checking for any TSB actions/or updates that might be required.

I mean the infotainment system. I'll go to my dealer to ask about it!

There are probably several. The one that bugs me the most, but I haven’t had any updated applied, is the outside temp reading 0 when it is actually 59. Someday I’ll get it done.

Yes. See attached. I had this done on my car recently and the cost at the dealership was $189.

Hope this helps.

The attached Infotainment Update fixes this.

Hope this helps!

Yep, that's the one. $189 for what's listed as a 0.5 hour job.
That's why I haven't had it done. That's just robbery.

I received the update about a month ago, and I'm still getting 0 when it was 59. The service manager did inform me that the update may not fix the issues, as this is a know issue with no def solution. Nice

So what happens? Does the heat suddenly kick on high or is it just a display glitch?

What's the difference between a feature and fault? One was a mistake that you like and the other, didn't.

A fault is a feature that doesn't work. They occur most often in the US Congress.

Just a display glitch. First time I saw it was right after I washed the car for the first time, and had been fiddlin around trying to reconnect the air intake tube behind the grill that I had noticed was disconnected. Thought maybe I disconnected the air temp sensor somehow.
