Hello Guys,

I could really do with some help here please, I have found the heated front screen connections behind the A pillar but I think there should be some connections at the bottom of the screen. I have removed the trim but still can't find these connections. Could anyone that has had this issue please let me know where I should find the connections?

The Workshop Manual only references the A Pillar connections which must be the ones you have found?




Many years since I last fitted a heated screen (to an XJ) and the power and ground connections used to emerge at the bottom. However, in this photo of an XK replacement glass, they appear to emerge at the sides.





That would be logical to match up as close as possible to the A Pillar harness connectors.

Thanks so much Graham, I have a manual on the way but it didn't realize that it would have that detail. I found the top connector and it was damaged but didn't think to look for one lower down because the old ones had it at the bottom. Both on the side makes more sense. I hope that I can sort it and avoid a new screen but probably not. Better get that other trim all back on now then, oops.
