Default James Bond Options

After hearing several comments from friends and co-workers about my “James Bond” looking car, I decided to have a little fun by showing them my “James Bond Options”

It takes more than a few switches.

I owned this Aston Martin DB5 for twenty eight years and the 'James Bond' comments had worn thin after about the first month.

The same car as it was in 1980 on our wedding day:

Still married to the same girl but sold the car in 2006.

Got to see the original movie 007 DB5 last year at the Amelia Island Concours......fun to look at but I could see how the comments would wear if you owned a DB5.

I love the color change! Was there no front bumper on it in 1980 or was that a fluke when the pix was taken?

I had it finished in Jaguar Solent Blue during an early restoration but changed to Silver Birch for sale because every fantasist who knows all about James Bond but nothing about Aston Martin wants that colour.

The bumpers were away getting re-chromed in 1980 when the photo in post #5 was taken.

The only James Bond accessory I've added to my XKR is a well preserved Walther PPK/S from the '80s...

Eva Green in the passenger seat sounds like a fine Bond option.

Probably not, that's his personal car, and wouldn't want to get it scratched.
The AM's are company cars, so who care's?

Nope, Jags have only been either the boss' or bad guys' cars...

Which ties in well with Jag's "Villains" ad campaign:
