Wondering if anybody has noticed this before. This would be for the 2012 up models not sure if the early runs would have this or not. It's only about 5/8 long an 1/8 inch high just happened to catch my eye yesterday
Jaguars are all about the details...another is the word JAGUAR in tiny engraving on the vent control chrome bars on later cars. It is all part of the "feel good" factor that Jaguar owners experience every time they look at their car.
Just been out and checked and there they are in all of their plastic glory...only been in my possession for 23 months and had missed that
Can't see any Jaguar script on the vent controls (as eluded by Sov) though and mine's a 2014 (2015 MY in North American terms?) so I'm guessing that came after the end of the XK series

The Jaguar script: yes, it might have come after the demise of the XK - it is on my F-Type and it has been on all the other Jaguars produced since 2015, including the XE, F-Pace, and XJ. Here it is on my F-Type:
