Default Least aggressive lowering springs available ?

Looking for a little firmer ride and maybe slightly lowered. HR is a good company but only have 25mm springs available which might be too big of a drop.
anything else available ?

It's been that way ever since I joined the forum, no signatures written or visible from the mobile web site. Think its to take some of the 'clutter' out of the display.
If you use the 'full' website from your phone, you see and post signatures, but its a bit harder to navigate that way (either everything is so tiny, or you have to keep sliding the image around to see everything).

The Spires Eibach 20mm springs are a huge improvement. You will not be disappointed.

The vehicle goes from a soft floaty GT ride to a really sporty drive it's literally on rails no body roll and sits completely flat through the corners...no comparison

I just bought a set of Mina Gallery units. Any idea who makes them for Mina?

I think they are slightly less aggressive than H&R.

Any tips on installing springs on the XKR? I’ve lowered a few cars and they all have gone smoothly.

There’s not much info or guides on lowering the X150. Just curious if anyone had any tips. I’ll take pics when complete. I’m also changing the pads to EBC red, painting calipers to Black, changing brake fluid and changing out diff fluid. Lots to do!

I’ll get alignment right after install is complete. I should
be installing them next Tuesday.

Thanks,
Joe

Installing the lowered springs isn't too bad however if you ever choose to go back to the originals the fronts can be extremely difficult to compress

I might attempt it myself since here in California shops are ripping ppl off $650 for labor to install
I'm a little worried that the 20mm might still be a little too agressive of a drop. Wish they had 10-15mm

There is you could always go the xkrs springs buy realistically they'll drop it 7-8mm until they sag then you'll get the full 10mm drop

Maybe you'd be happier with smaller tires or less air in existing tires?
One-half inch is what you get when you fill a fuel tank from empty.

I've lowered a couple of cars and the Jag was one of the easiest. Don't buy cheap spring compressors as the springs are hard to compress and
you don't want it to snap!:-)

Lowering a car 10mm is meaningless, you won't even notice it! 20-25mm is perfect for our cars!:-)
This is mine with 20-25mm drop!

I'm curious what you dislike about the factory setup? I've only hit the suspension limit once, coming off the interstate at 75+ and the nose pitched over excessively. Wasn't uncontrollable and it didn't push too much but it left me know we were at the limit of safe traction.

If you ask me, simply for looks, the car looks so much better when lowered. I also put spacers on the car to make it look more aggressive !:-)

Lowering a car with different rate springs is not a good thing to do unless you also match the shocks to the new spring rate. Mismatched springs and dampers are not fun and will make your car slower and less controllable. Still, it might look a little better while it is being pulled from a ditch.

I watched a slightly lowered newer 5.0 Mustang the other mornings commute and it did not look better in motion lowered. In fact it looked spine rattling stiff. It seems wheel well gap is the most common complaint why folks want their cars lowered. Taller profile tires fill the gaps and also allow it to ride better. Mine already has a lower roof line than pretty much any other car in the parking lot so... Just not seeing the point beyond a photo shoot. I care far more about the view and experience from behind the wheel than it posing as a trophy. Still get cars slowing next to me to see more even with clear coat peeling off.

For me it's a little about the look and more for performance in handling , because honestly our cars handle like a Lincoln , all flaoty and not very stable at high speeds. I love how soft it is though over bumps , but when car is pushed would preffer a more sporty and confident feel of the car
