I know the bulb sizes from our handbook but I believe that's European sizes and it's very confusing trying to fig out the American comparison for the LED comparables. I'm driving myself nuts over here searching/trying to figure out the exact LED bulb sizes as I want to change them all out. I saw in one recent post about the 194 size for the dome light. But I need help in these others.

1. LED bulb size for the side repeater lamps (under the the side mirrors).
2. LED bulb size for the license plate light.
3. LED bulb size for the light when you enter the vehicle by the footwell.
4. LED bulb size for the trunk light.
5. LED bulb size for glove box.

Any help is greatly appreciated!! Thanks guys.

You the man, thanks so much! Couple a questions for you. When I clicked the link you provided it shows 3 different ones. One with 5, 9, or 13 individual actual led lights on each one. Which one did you go with or does it not matter as all of them will fit? Also, which color did you go with the cool white or the natural? Thanks again!!

 

Also, what about the "side repeater lamps" as they are referred as in the manual. The ones that illuminate the road when you make a left or right hand turn? Don't think that's the same as the puddle lights.

 

I went with the 5led all around except the puddle lamp where I used the 9led. Im not sure what is the largest size the license and map sockets will accommodate but IMO, the 5led provides enough light. I wanted the puddle housing to throw off as much light as possible so tried the 9led and it was a tight fit. The footwells will take a larger bulb, no problem, as there is no housing that it has to go into. As far as color, I went with cool blue which the site says is 6000k. I'm no expert to subtle changes in color across the temperature spectrum but this light looks "pure" white to me with no hint of blue. I always thought that 6000k would give you a slight tint but not with these bulbs.

I didn't change the side repeater lamps and not sure I will going forward. Let us know if you tackle this project
