Default LED Halo Headlight / Foglight conversion

Haven't posted in a while, so hello everyone! Figured this might be a good one ...

Purchased these Halo LED lights from amazon, 110mm and 60mm pairs.

Here is the install process:
1. Remove headlight unit, turn signal bulb (1), side marker/daytime bulbs (2), metal clips around housing (5), rubber vent tubes (5), main housing to inner housing torx screw (1), washer fluid unit (1)
2. Place headlight unit in preheated oven for 10 minutes @ 200 degrees F to soften the lens glue
3. Remove from oven (use mits), gently separate the lens from the housing
4. Remove 2 torx screws and carefully remove inner housing from inside lens
5. Using dremel, grind out a half moon shaped opening on the top of the main beam shroud:

6. Drill hole in the back upper part of the turn signal shroud:

7. On the 60 mm lights, cut off the 3 locator tabs to make the surface flush
8. Using a suitable adhesive (something thick and quick setting), glue the lights in place.
- 60mm: run the wire through the drilled hole, add enough adhesive on the outer edge of the lights, and carefully set in place - centered around the turn signal bulb hole
- 110mm: align wire with the half moon cut out, add glue and set onto the shroud

9. USE EXTREME CAUTION when wiping off excess glue... the chrome on the shrouds comes off VERY VERY easily. Even just a wipe with a cloth will scratch it up and remove some of the chrome.
10. Rest the housing in a vertical position and allow the glue to cure per manufacturer instructions.
11. Tape the 110mm wires to the housing so they don't get in the way. Seal the 60mm wire hole opening:

12. Use some shop air to blow off dust/debris from the housing. Clean the inside of the lens.
13. Reinstall inner housing to lens
14. Splice a ground wire (black/brown) and daytime running lights 12v+ (red/red) to the outer 5w daytime running light connectors
15. Splice a turnsignal12v+ wire (yellow/green)

16. Zip tie the drives (2) to the main beam frame:

17. Connect the wires and tuck/tie them out of the way
18. Loosely install lens back onto main housing and place in over (200 degrees F for 10 minutes)
19. Push lens back into place, install torx screw (1)
20. Reinstall clips, rubber vents, bulbs, etc...
21. Reinstall headlight unit and test

Couple of things:
- still trying to figure out best way to 'blackout' the original turn signal lights (might just keep a clear set in there)
- still working on the lower fog lights - more to come on that
- you can use some vinyl chrome to cover up the 5w daytime light bulbs and cover the terminals with electrical tape so they don't light up

Car has been in hibernation for couple of months so its a bit dusty, but here is the final product on the headlights:

Not for the faint hearted 👀

However that looks awesome, shame that's illegal in EU

Are you running this as DRL, without main xenons?

Yeah these are just for daytime lights and turn signals. I think they will be fine for daytime.

I didn't mod the main beams.
