LED light repair national UK service
Hi there, I've just had a rear LED light repaired on a 2012 XK-R after the usual water ingress issue. New unit quoted at around £600 and the repair was £175 plus postage, so a bargain I'd say.

Posted the lamp on Monday and received it back on Wednesday, so a speedy service and well recommended.

Yep, that looks about standard I'm afraid. Apparently, the seals on the unit are a bit suspect and ultimately fail after time. If the LED's are currently all working, you may be able to remove the unit, dry it out with a heat gun (carefully!) and apply silicone to the edges to try and bolster the seals. However, if there are LED's out, then you'll need a repair or replacement unit. Personally, I decided against a second-hand unit (which seem to be offered for around £300) due to the chances of paying for the same problem. Hope this helps.
