What car did you convert to poly? I intend to do a complete Powerflex conversion next month as my 5 year old warranty replacement control arm bushes are about done after 4K miles. I understand if you grease them correctly, they will NOT squeak.

The XJR, put poly in place of some standard rubber bushes, I left all the spherical joint bushes as stock;

Front upper wishbone bushes
And the front bushes of both the upper and lower rear wishbones
Also did the rear sway bar bushes.

I totally wish I hadn't and they will all be ripped out and replaced with standard rubber OEM bushes when I get a chance to put the car off the road for an extended period.

Perhaps a bit unbecoming for a saloon but more appropriate for a sport coupe? I miss the SuperV8 and I found the suspension on that car to be flawless, minus the same rotten bushes that I had to replace, under warranty.

Are sport coupe's meant to creak and groan as you ease your way over speed humps?

Not a chance in hell I'll put poly bushes in my XKR.

I replaced sway bar bushings on another car with poly bushings. I added grease fittings to the exterior metal bushing holder plus a very small hole in the bushings for grease to reach the bearing surface. No noise. Wonder if anyone has tried this on a Jag's poly bushings.

Mind keeping us posted on this please? I may be interested.
