Default Little beeping sound while accelarating when hot

Now in the hot summer my XK 5.0 NA has a low beeping sound when accelerating the warm engine. After about 2 minutes of driving it gets better. The noise can be controlled with the accelerator - the more the louder. At first I thought about the air conditioning or the ventilation, but it seems to be power or pressure dependent and comes from the front or engine compartment.

Any ideas where to look?

Thx in advance,
bernd

Thx - No, nothing electronically. A whistle, not loud, but getting a little bit louder when accelatring. Like a hose loosing some pressure through a minor hole. I will tomorrow try to make a video.

Does it go away if you turn the AC off?

I will try different options today. Maybe I can somehow limit the possibilities. And sorry for my unprecise explanation, that is sometimes a little bit difficult with school knowledge of your language more than 40 years ago.;-)

Hi it's possible that is a belt problem or belt tensioner.

I almost don't dare to do an update: it was because of the air conditioning that caused the whistle when running at high speed. If you close the air vents a bit more, the little noise disappears.

Thx all,
bernd

Thank you for the update.

That’s why I asked about the AC...could be a Freon level issue or perhaps your vin is affected by the TSB regarding adding a spacer to the AC line.
