Default Looking for long tube manifolder for jaguar XKR-S

Hi guys.

I found that the oem exhaust for XKR-S seems like this.

It doesn't have 2nd resonator in the middle of the pipe thus I don't know how to increase the volume which I am not satisfied yet with original sound.
I just want it to be more v8 at low speed and looking for the long tube manifolders(headers) but don't know who produce this for my XKR-S.

I just send the mail to velocity whom I contacted before and bought some of the parts for Jag F type V6S and wait for their answer.

If there is someone who did this, please share it with me.

Thank you and have a nice day.

The XKR-S is a very quiet system in my opinion compared to the commercial when it released. I thought it was gonna sound like an Ftype before the Ftype and was disappointed. They really amped up the sound in the Ftype by comparison. I have a XKR as well with resonators and got a new midpipe with resonator delete and xpipe along with new back box. It’s the spires exhaust system now sold by RPMotorworks on their website. It’s amazing - you can keep everything stock and it’s still amazing. Can’t imagine sport cats with it would be insane. Minimal drone at highway speeds as well. Consider the XK 5.0 system by RPMotorworks. Low down rumble that the neighborhood can hear and scoff at.
Much louder at high rpm….way way way more cracks and snaps. More natural then original Ftype but definitely there on decel.

go to jag, xkr. You looking for the XK/XKR rear box for the 5.0. 1800 pounds I think it is. A lot. But the low down rumble and increased noise is fantastic.

I enjoy my xkr more then my xkr-s because of it. SOOO MUCH BETTER.

looks me up on YouTube and check out exhaust video - The HRE XKR (I got HRE rims &#129315

I heard it from youtube before and now found that it was you.
Nice to meet you friend.

But the exhaust system you are talking from RPMotorworks, I assume that it's the same way with stock exhaust system from XKR-S.

The difference I found between XKR & XKR-S is XKR has the resonator at the middle section with H piping whereas XKR-S no resonator in the middle with X piping.

But I still feel that it's quite, especially at low RPM under 2500.
So that I'm thinking about changing headers with long tube which I guess would bring nice sound on V8.

Looking for it.

Thanks, and your sound is very nice.

Very surprise that your car was the one I try to follow.
Thus I bought HRE P101. but mine is not genuine . formal owner bought it from , I guess, one of the korean wheel manufacturer and they say it was made in the same way of the HRE but I don't believe it.

@TAEUCK Goo If you want exhaust headers, they will have to be custom made, and probably will be very expensive and won't increase horsepower and torque very much, if at all.

If you want more noise, install electric exhaust cutouts.

Or take the high road and don't aim to go louder... but get some high quality, reduced cell catalytic converters and a tune... Mine has more low rpm growl than most because of it.
Interestingly, I've kept fuse 19 in place.

Yep that Black XKR on there is now up to 127.7k miles and going. Had a mishap with 8 gallons of water in the tank this last summer but is survived after the gas company paid 9k to have the entire fuel system replaced apart from the HPFP's...which they should have done as well! pissed the dealership didn't just ask them to do so. Anyway.

The XKR-S is a resonator delete with X pipe from factory - back box is factory. The XKR is a resonator delete that I did...and added the spires/rpmotorworks mid section X-pipe. The Back box is SIGNIFICANTLY LOUDER. A guy I knew who had a XKR-S and once was on these boards was dissatisfied with the sound of his XKR-S. As did I...I felt the commercial was misleading and I bought my car sight unseen. I didn't know the ins and outs of exhausts at the time thought lol.... anything can be made to be LOUD. SO... the rear box of the spires back box allows WAY MORE LOW RPM Rumble and Grunt. It is also way louder on full throttle then the original back box. Drone is minimal on freeway and if bother turning on the radio takes care of it. I do NOT regret my purchase 10 yrs ago and its still going strong.

Im not a rich enthusiast that only wants the best. There was a fellow from Miami FL on here years ago named Maxima. You can see his car by going to google and typing in "XKR HRE" and you will see his black jag almost identical to mine with HIS/MY rims on it before he sold them to me. Somehow some moving van backed up into his door damaging the side of the car but not the rims. He then sold me those Rims. he sent me a invoice showing what he paid to start off, at the time, 11,000+ to have them "rush" made effectively jumping the line at HRE for several more grand. They were more around 9000 back then if you wanted a set to wait 6-12 months backlog? He went to a race shop and had specific dimensions made that fill out the wheel well perfectly at god knows what cost. HRE still has those dimensions and calls them the aggressive version, meanwhile they have the dimensions for the factory rims as well (less aggressive). Currently they still sell those same rims at 3500+ a rim I think? Something astronomical. I told him NO THANKS without hassling him and walked away. Then he came back with an offer....

I would say...obviously....they are worth the four 1000 dollar payments I made to him via PayPal FF in consecutive months after he shipped them to me- bless him he was a trusting soul and wanted them GONE!!! He also included 1/2 tread Michelin Supersport tires which were on them. Just the Right place at the right time. He drove them I think less then 9000 miles and they still had some road rash. Ive added about 100,000 miles myself and kept any additional damage limited. You can't have them fixed by anyone but HRE or they won't touch them. So... I don't want to bother sending them so they stay washed up till I do.

I have that Red XKR-S. To this day it is on factory rims hehe .... I'm not buying HRE P101's at 3000+ a rim, I can't afford that! Id rather make a downpayment on a Ftype!?!?! I would however consider the FlowForm HRE rims at near 3k a set?

Maxima bought an Ftype SVR. Im grateful he called HRE and advised them I was the new owner that way I can buy product for the wheels and they re-registered them to me...that is huge! We stayed in contact and even joked about needing a Jaguar paid vacation to Castle Bromwich as we both had bought NEW - their best 2 cars ever at the time - My 13 XKR-S and his 17 Ftype SVR. One day he stopped responding. I see he hasn't been on the forums in years now last log in last decade? Im say about it...so many lost friends on here like Ngarara who passed 2019 ...Anyone heard from Maxima?
