Just bought my first 07 XK a couple of months ago. I always let the car warm up at least 10-15 seconds in the morning before backing up out of the garage. When I put it in reverse and backup the rpm's sometimes drop low to a rough idle (500-600 rpm) and then jump back to normal at some point or when I put it in drive. Anyone else experience this? Your thoughts?

 

I experience this with my car when first started. The idle will run down like it nearly dies and then rev back up. I don't think too much about it since it only occurs when the car is cold and I first start it up. I also get a rough idle right about the same time when this happens.

 

If I try to reverse too quickly after starting my car will stall out!
