It doesn't I hit mine last month, It not only chipped the paint, it completely cracked it... And I'm telling you I barely touched it... I still have no idea where the front of this car is... At least the lower lip sticks out just enough that I didn't screw up my bumper... But on the bright side it gives me a reason to now go ahead and experiment with carbon skinning when I get around to it...

I use the parking sensors when in doubt, but usually park far enough back where I'm not close to the barrier. Take going in and out of driveways at an angle, helps a lot not scrapping the front end at all

This is going to require a front mounted cam, for me. The nose is a bit too long. Had they shorten it in the original design it wouldnt have been a bad thing.

I've tried all different combinations of springs
XK
XKR &
Spires

Think I've finally found the holy grain the perfect balance of comfort , handling and aesthetics (also not scraping on every single driveway is a huge bonus)

Spires in the rear / XKR up front

Are you using spacers with your setup?

Viper not running any spacers although I have been toying with the idea of running some upfront (10mm) just to give it that guard filling effect as far as the back goes they look just fine the way they are.

I reached out to Eibach UK yesterday to see if they've added the X150 to their product lineup, or could talk internally to determine if there's a production spring that will work for the car, based on the dimensions, springrates, etc that Spires used to spec their spring. Here is their response:

My name is XXXXX and I look after the private label exclusive/non-catalogued aftermarket parts here in the UK. The kit that Eibach UK designed and produced for Spires is a wholly exclusive design and therefore cannot be sold to anyone else, so if you wish to purchase that kit, it would be through Spires directly. If we were to produce a batch of kits for the same vehicle but with notable changes to static ride heights and spring rates, as well as colour and part number printing, then it may be possible. If we did look at making you your own kit, ideally you would want to order in more than 1 single kit, as the costs for a single bespoke kit can be as high as £2000 plus VAT.

Unfortunately there is no existing catalogue kit in Europe or the US for your vehicle, so as far as an ‘off the shelf’ solution, one does not exist.

Many thanks!

Best regards / Mit freundlichen Grüßen,

XXXXXX Aftermarket & Private Label

So, there you have it. If you want 20mm springs in the USA, shipping overseas from Spires is your only bet!

Yes, it wasn't bad at all... With exchange rate, about $460 total. $150 more than a domestic sourced spring from Eibach, but I'm also happy to support a company that offers aftermarket support for our cars.

Yes and the H&R sit way too low. I put them on and immediately took him right off added wheel spacers still too low for my taste at least... as one other member noted before it's not symmetrical in the wheel well and looks odd when it's that long no offense to H&R owners spacers do not make it up plus the rear wheels are already pretty far apart and adding spacers and bringing them out even farther doesn't look quite right and makes the tires look even skinnier cuz you can see up the side of the tire on the outside
