Default Major coolant leak

Had problems with my car (07 coupe) with it cutting out, found problem to be no coolant. No overheating warning, car is now in garage and mechanic is saying the radiator has burst, resulting in very rapid coolant loss. He also has said that the engine is misfiring badly,I guess this is going to be very expensive . Missing my baby already

Sorry to hear it, mate - strange that you got no warning for either low coolant or overheating. Everyone grumbles about the lack of a temperature gauge on these cars, though (from experience) you don't always notice when a gauge starts to rise either.

Fingers crossed, but the alloy engines don't take kindly to high temps.
