A good start would be all the P codes including whether P1111 or P1000 and if the latter then which OBD monitors are not set (aka ready aka complete).

The workshop manual is very clear. Should a series of unrelated error codes be presented,
1. confirm the healthy state of the electrical power system.
2. ONCE confirmed, perform reset.
3. Restart and read codes.

Are you certain that 1. has been completed successfully?
Cheers!

The battery is brand new and is 💯 showing the right voltage when left.
when u mention reset. Is that the touching the battery cables together.
This has been done also.
When I turn the ignition on its starts beeping and showing faults on dash and the beeping carries on even when I switch it off

Ive checked a few. Don't know where they all are tbh. I've checked the gearbox one and the ones in front wheel archs and they seem fine.

Thanks. So when checking the earth's is there any check i can do apart from checking the connection is good. I know when I checked the 3 in each front wheel arch I disconnected them. I put my test meter on each and onto the earth point and the needle moved on all but 1 but I dont actually know if its supposed to anyway lol

With grounds on an aluminum car, you have a couple of things to look out for:

1. Corrosion. Galvanic corrosion may occur from the fact there are dissimilar metals being used. The only way to check, disassemble, clean, tighten, seal.
2. Nuts working their way loose. Correct, as 1.

In terms of confirming electrical power, do I have this right?? The battery was changed then the issues started to occur...
I would start with
1. are the leads sound. Or were they wiggled and became loose or frayed or...
2. is the battery actually REALLY connected. There can be no wiggle/ looseness in the connections.
3. During the change event, was a fuse blown.

Cheers

No. I went shopping one day. Came back to it and this happened. I got it recovered bought a new battery and it was fine. Then it started doing it intermittently so never dared drive it. I left it a year as I was in the middle of a divorce/ house purchase. Charged the battery up but was still intermittent. Replaced the battery again and its started once. Now the problem seems permanent. No fuses were blown as far as im aware

Actually thinking about it, I think i might have changed the battery before the shopping drive as I didn't use it much and the original battery would go flat after a week parked up. So yes it was after battery change

Most Auto Parts stores (at least here in the US) will load test the battery at no cost. They will test your amps and voltage, but as you are certain it isn't the battery, you are left with confirming every ground point and positive point is sound. Start big then work your way down. remove each and clean them, move to the next. I've seen threaded ground posts that look great, put a wrench on the nut and it disintegrates, Do a search here for ground points. Most are headlight related but you might find a few that steer you. Do you have a wiring diagram? You need to add the model year to your profile and preferably your signature.

Ok I have a diagram so I will start at the front, rechecking the ones I've already checked and work my way backwards. I just hope I can find it. It's really doing my head in now

what model year do you have? Do you have an actual wiring diagram? Guy sent you a connector guide for an earlier model year.
