Default Milltek Cats Before and After Video

I installed some Milltek Racing Cats form Eurotoys Ltd and made a before and after video for those interested.

It seems my MPG improved by 1 or 2 MPG but my Dynolicious before and after had some strange results. My HP showed only a 2 HP gain but my Gs rating that was a consistent 0.79 (3 runs) before is now a consistent 1.15 G (5 runs) I know G force relates to torque so I see this as a considerable gain.

I really need an ECU tune to unlock this and the 2.5-3 lb Powerhouse Performance pulley I've installed but haven't been able to find anyone to do this. ETG states their tune only works with their pulley?!? and unfortunately there aren't any Viezu Tuners in my area.

Excellent customer service from Mike at Eurotoys and the best part,
The Sound is INTOXICATING!!! Turn your speakers up and enjoy...

Before:

After:

I love the nastiness added by the Milltek Cats. Cats back is stilll stock with fuse 19 in place.

That added some nice snarl there -- thanks for taking the time to do before/after!

Default Volume

That's the word I was looking for "snarl", perfect description. Glad you liked it Rahtok.

I took a decibel reading as well that registered 92 stock and 103 with the Millteks during revs. The other nice thing is no resonation problems came from this mod and in cabin you can really hear the exhaust better now but only when you add throttle. Cruising is still quiet and comfortable.

Default Fitment

I've read that the Milltek Catalysts will only fit with the full Milltek catback exhaust, did it work with your stock exhaust or did you have to modify anything?

Default Cut and clamp

The Millteks are longer and have a slightly larger diameter than the stock catalysts so we cut the pipes down where the catalysts attach to the mid section and used new clamps as the catalysts pipes fit over the mid-section pipe rather than into like the stock ones did.

The good part is the Millteks fit perfectly up into the exhaust manifold area and within the heat shields flawlessly.

Mike - where did you get the Supercharger pulley? You stated it is 2.5 to 3lb?

On ebay UK (the british version) from powerhouse performance. The 2.5 - 3lb pulley requires filing down the supercharger snout for it to fit. Once the snout is reduced you press it on the supercharger drive shaft.

I have an 08 with the Eaton M112, not sure about compatibility with the Eaton TVS on the 2010+ models so you may want to contact the seller first. They also have a webpage Jaguar Supercharger Upgrade | Jaguar Supercharger

Very nice Mike! After having my hiflo cats for a year now (anther brand) I still look for cops when I drive around as it's alittle loud. Although still not as loud as my buddy's viper with straight pipe.

Default Trying to keep up :)

Thanks Ghostrider! At this point I'm just following your lead... IMO your the Godfather of the XKR mods.

The other brand wouldn't sell me their cats until they had a 2007+ XKR in shop to work out all the kinks. Fortunately even though the Millteks are pricey I haven't had any issues and Mike at Eurotoys really takes great care of his customers.

I may go with a Mina rear box in the future but I'm happy with the sound for now.

I noticed you mentioned a meth kit in your signature... I like the Snow Performance one since it seems to be a complete kit and I like being able to use the winshield washer reservoir that will give a "automatic" warning when the fluid gets low.

Right now I'm just trying to get an ECU Tune but since I'm currently assigned overseas there's no one in my local area that can tune the Jag and I'm a little too far for Mike to get to.
