Default Mina cold air intake

I just received the cold air intake from Mina, but then decided to read some info about air intakes in the forum. Now, I haven't done anything and any of the posts I read we're from years ago. All seemed to say don't do it. Is this still the case ? If so does anyone know if Mina will take it back and give me a credit that I could apply towards something else. Guess I shoulda asked first.

I'm sure we're not ignoring you - lots of helpful folks here. But are you in the right forum? I noted that your signature shows a 2004 XKR. This is the 2006-onwards (alloy body) forum.

I'm interested too, but I've heard there are no kits made for 2006 + XK's.

2006+ XKRs get their air in a much more sensible way than previous gen. Its already pretty much a cold air intake.

So I guess us guys with older XKR's will never get an answer.

Well, there is another sub-forum for the XK8s, you're just not likely to get the XK8 guys patrolling this one as much.
