I just picked up my car from Jaguar for my annual oil change and noticed on the invoice 115 MOA additive. The oil was castrol edge 5W20. I've never heard of the MOA additive before. Anyone know anything about it and is it standard for Jaguar to use it at oil changes? Thanks all.

 

Interesting... Is this Jaguar admitting that the old stock of 5W20 does not compare to new synthetics that have evolved in 10+ years, regardless of spec on the bottle. So they are possibly adding more protection to make up for it?

 

That is a bg product and anything i have ever used from bg works fantastic. Especially the injector flush products. If moa is added with every oil change bg warranties the engine for life.

 

What do we think this additive does? I've seen an awful lot of snake oil additives over the years.
