Default Mr 12 Volt install

Can anyone recommend someone in Virginia or the Carolinas who can install the Mr 12 Volt unit that makes it possible to have Apple CarPlay on the original screen in a 2010 XKR Convertible? I’m sold on the device but so far am unable to find someone who has experience installing it. Thanks for any advice you can provide.

Not sure if you saw my message.
I’m in Charlotte and will be installing my Mr12V soon.
Be happy to do yours.

Hi LeeBo

I have a Mr12volt system in my car and I installed it myself. They have videos on YouTube showing it done step by step and it's not difficult if you take your time, and a bit of care.
I am about to transplant it into a replacement screen unit as mine has failed due to what looks like water damage.

It's been pretty reliable for the 12 months I've had it fitted and connects my phone and displays Android Auto. I have found it a bit tricky to get out of settings mode, so I need to check for a software update.

I want someone to install one for me also. I'd do it myself, but I had hand surgery a couple months ago and can still barely move my thumb, and the rest of my fingers have zero strength and very little mobility. Ortho says maybe another 6-9 months until I can do fun stuff again.
Any volunteers???

Utah is a bit of a haul. But if you’re ever up for a road trip….
