We have a similar event every Sunday morning in the parking lot of a large mall in Woodland Hills, CA (San Fernando Valley). It's called Supercar Sunday. I don't get a chance to go often (usually on the way to the golf course) but I get there 3 or 4 times a year. The fun is seeing cars you wouldn't normally see, and/or talking to owners of cars that you either love or don't know anything about. It's all over by 9:00am so you still have the rest of the day to enjoy
