My latest Mod - Wrapped wood interior trim
First, I would like to thank all the guys/girls who have done this mod before me, your previous post gave me the knowledge to do this update. So here are some pics, if you would like to see what black brushed aluminum wrap looks like on the interior wood pieces. I know this is not for everyone, but for me, I think it gives it a modern look which I like...

Sure, anything specific, edges, grain, particular piece of trim? Just as a note here is a link to the wrap I used. I have never done this before and it was very easy to work with and DIY friendly. All that was needed was alcohol for cleaning trim, razor blade and my wife's hair dryer, only took an hour to do all the trim... Plenty of youtube video's on car wrap, very simple...
Step 1 - Remove trim
Step 2 - Wipe trim down with alcohol to get clean of any dirt or oils
Step 3 - Wrap trim pieces
Step 4 - Re-install trim pieces
Done!

If you get your materials from a good quality automotive wrap manufacturer, yes.
I just pulled the brushed style wrap off my window trim and side vent yesterday and today. It looks just like it did when the wrap was put on.
I took it off as my car isn't metalic, and the darker trim clashed with the caramel interior. Otherwise I thought it looked great, especially from angle where I didn't see through the window.
How easy it is to reverse will be largely dependent on skill and materials.

I remember a couple months ago a member asking about how to bleach the wood grain so it was mono gray colored. I'm seriously thinking about trying to find a tint similar to headlamp tint and seeing how it would look over the stock panels. I want to keep the colors warm in my caramel colored interior but get away from the '70's sedan look. Maybe copper...

Copper might be interesting... Personally I think brushed aluminum would look great with your color combination and you could carry it over to the exterior as well on some of the pieces, if you wanted. Would match those new gauges as well. Great thing about the wrap is that you can try it and if you don’t like it just peel it off with no damage to the part... You can buy a $20 1’ x 5’ piece of wrap and do all the wood trim in the interior assuming you manage the product correctly and don’t waste a lot.

All the trim is held on by clips, just pulls off... of course you want to be careful not to break anything so slow and steady is the key... To remove trim around the nav screen start at the bottom where you can get your hands behind the trim. As for the trim around the gear selector, there is a small piece of plastic under the nav trim above ashtray that pops straight out, then the trim around the gear selector pops up, I used a small pic to pull the plastic piece out then open the ashtray to get to the gear selector trim so you don't have to pry against leather, I used a plastic pry tool to get the front of the trim started around gear selector, its not hard at all...
