Default Navi System 07' XK - Assistance please

OK…. I definitely need to attend remedial school for the Navi System…… Hardly ever used the Navi function cause I usually just drive the Jag in my home town, as such I do not need it. Just recently I headed out to a a different municipality and plugged in the address that I would be driving to. Well, the Navi system seems stuck to the United Sates geographical area…. I live in British Columbia, Canada. I fiddled with it for a few minutes, got frustrated and got my Garmin unit. Came home, ejected the disc (Canada/USA) and still the same. Anyone have suggestions…. I have the manual and it says to change location, it does not appear to state how to change the country. Any assistance is appreciated...

when you activate the navi, you see a map of the area on the dvd. In the right corner below you see the country that is mapped. By pressing the button next to it you can change the country, in your case Canada. It works in Europe so it should work in Canada as well.

Thanks for the response. I took another look at it last night. Removed the CD from the player then re-installed it. When I turned on the NAV it now picked up my location and had full Canadian functionality working again. Another Jaguar little mystery…...

Jaguar navigation: welcome to the 80's.

Glad you got it working!
