New Addition
Hi Guys, After using this forum for many months to gain knowledge on my next ride; I took the plunge yesterday. I am now the happy owner of a XKR Coupe, 2011, 18900 mls, Indigo Blue w Caramel int. I am keeping my X358 VDP even though my wife thinks I'm nuts. This time, I didn't have to get on a plane as the car was located in the next State. I drove one of these cars 7 yrs ago and the experience never left me. Now I have a "Space Warper", and the drive home didn't disappoint! Will post pic soon.
Did this car come from Alabama?
My bookmarked listing just disappeared as no longer availible.
If so, I'm happy to know where it went, it was a beauty. I have all the for sale pictures saved.
Enjoy!

Thanks for the welcome Guys. The pleasure is all mine thanks to my new blue cat. He is indeed from next door Louisiana where he had a good home from new. His owner was v sad to see him go, but alas had other priorities in life. I recently returned from a visit to Castle Bromwich Jag tour where they were made (now F Type production line, but virtually same) kinda gives a different perspective to our enjoyment of these vehicles. Well worth it if you can put up with British roads! Sorry I was late with pics; had trouble compressing them.
My Vantage and your XK are near twins...
When I saw the listing I noted to someone else here, an opportunity like this comes around once in a lifetime. I knew this car was special ordered by a Jaguar lover who knew what he was doing.
A magnificent specimen that could not have gone to a better home- the astute owner did one final act of brilliance for his beloved car and kept it away from dealers.
Congratulations.

We're a talkative bunch in the X150 section. Be warned.
I think that if you upload to the gallery in your profile, it will automatically bring down the size of over-sized pictures. I know at least two of us here would love looking at any pictures you upload of this car.
I had been using your new cat's listing as my direct book mark to auto-trader instead of a bookmark to the main page. You've gotten a great one here!

Yes, been living down here since 2000; like you, some of the time. I have a friend with an XK in the UK where it feels like a large car. Here it appears quite compact for which I am grateful. I find the UK road network frustrating at best now, and just couldn't see myself enjoying this car there. Thankfully, I don't have to! The Castle B tour was 3 hrs which felt like a blink of the eye; I could have stayed all day. Sounds like you have done it as well?
