Hey guys,

Bought this gadget from China on 05 Aug., received it today. It works "like a champ". Even has led for brighter viewing. I purchased it for inspection of any impending AC drip. That is, for when I drill a hole and start looking around.for
Anyway, it arrives with no software for either Mac or Windows.
However, for you Apple dudes, it works with PhotoBooth or downloading a free Apple App called "Quickier".
The PC version is a a program called EvoCam, however, it's $30 with a 15 day trial period. There is a no frills software called by "Oassisscientific" (google) look for this executable "ehe_v2.exe".

Bought something similar off eBay a couple of years ago, never got it to work with Windows 7, and haven't gotten around to trying Windows XP (didn't drink the Apple cool-aide ).

 

Ok, go find it and look for that Evocam or that "exe." file.
I got it working on my W7 laptop, then, fiddled it to working on my MacBook Pro.
It's very clear viewing too....

User Update..... need to amend my instructions regarding using "PhotoBooth" (Apple Mac).
Once you have the camera plugged in, open PhotoBooth. At the top, the tool bar) is "Camera". Open the pull down and choose the "USB 2 PC Cam"....
Rotating the viewer will change the orientation of the pic. Also, there are HighDef versions for more money, but still cheaper that a stand-alone Endoscope.
