Sadly you'll likely have to wait for a moderator to move your post to the right sub-forum.

In the US the XKR-S was introduced with the 2012 MY facelift. In Europe the first R-S was introduced with the first gen platform in 2008.

Default its too fast, I'm too slow

Jahummer, I bought this Jag from my late friends wife. I knew that my friend had done some work to it, BUT I had no idea what. I'm told it makes 600 hp at the rear wheels and that is before the nos shot. I found the bottle hidden behind a nicely crafted curtain in the back. My friend was a 75-year-old hot rod master. He had two catamarans, one 32 foot and one 42 foot that were never beaten in the Chesapeake Bay area, boasting 180 mph speeds. This car, and I hate to admit it, is too fast for me. I'm 69 years old. The car is too fast and I'm too slow. It is my intention to put it back to stock. It is a 2011 XKR-S limited edition, black of course. I will figure out how to upload pictures as the car is beautiful, not even a scratch.

Detuning may be problematic. Why not keep the 600hp and just Not Use It? Delving into ECMs and such may cause more problems than it alleviates. However, merely 45 extra ponies isn't really much at all. What, 8%? You may not even be able to notice that.
The Nitrous shot, now that wouldn't be necessary, and probably easy to remove without effort or derogatory effect.

Wow - 180 mph in a catamaran? If that's not a typo, you fell for a Chesapeake Bay fish story - hook, line, and sinker!

Or just don't use it, assuming it's manually activated and not required by the tune.

I'd like to believe you, but ....

10 Fastest Boats in the World, April 29, 2022
https://wheelsinquirer.com/fastest-boats-in-the-world/

The slowest is the South Bay 925CR at 114 mph. But where is the SNAFU? At 180 mph it should be on that list.

The SNAFU is nowhere to be found in that article and it didn't show up on my Google searches for "fastest catamaran speedboat" or several similar searches using the key words SNAFU and Chesapeake Bay.

Unless you can provide definitive proof of that catamaran's existence and documented speed record, the SNAFU doesn't exist and that speed record never happened.

I did find a 9000 HP catamaran, American Ethanol, that can do 217 mph. It’s made by Mystic Power Boats.

It would appear that you bought a plain old XK/R with fake badging. Sorry, man. I hope you didn't pay over $25,000 or you've been royally swindled.

R-S was not on a 2010
No such thing as a "Special Edition"
The -S is completely wrong on the badges, and misplaced on the car
The rear spoiler is incorrect
The front nose is not an -S nose
Does not have the Sport Seats

Going by all the above, I'm nearly certain it has not been tuned to 600 hp, but has the stock 510. I also wouldn't try the Nitrous out as it may explode something.
