I even got them to change my battery while it was apart since it was way more easy to access at that point, and I needed a new battery anyway.

Hopefully, when everything is reassembled and reconnected the top will work. That issue has not been vetted yet.

But so far I am pleased.

So happy you're getting a new battery, and that the wreck isn't terminal for you!

I am charged with bad puns this week.

Good deal. Hopefully it's at least as good as it was before. One thing I learned with mine was to hit the hazard flashers when I need to hammer the brakes since I can out stop just about anything. I also watch the mirror to see if I need to dodge the guy behind.

I normally watch behind me too but was busy dodging the tire parts all over the road. I didn't lock them up or anything. I think he was probably not paying attention.

Today is really the day I get my car back. They finished it yesterday. I will be very happy to have it back again, though the Nissan Versa was a close substitute. Hah!

My son got married this weekend.

They asked to drive away from the reception in the XK. Which they did.
