For some reason, it happens a lot here in Louisiana. I don't remember having this issue in other places I have lived; Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey.

Not likely to make you feel better but at least it was not on a body panel. I've got a few small chips on the windshield myself....though it is billion d@med sparkle chips that I find most anoying. Especially with winter sun. looks like the PO must have always followed gravel trucks!

Get it repaired as soon as you can. The repair now days will make it invisible .

So, I noticed this weekend that I have turned over 40,000 miles.


18,000 miles in 11 months, plus it was in the shop for a month and a half for repairs after getting rear-ended.


That went by fast.
