Default New Member 2008 XKR

Coming from Port Alto Texas, a small drinking community with a fishing problem. This is not my first Jaguar and overall this one is in fair/good condition and so far this forum has been great. Reading threads I'm thing what have I bought! So far I have checked/ performed maintenance and overall condition is good. Have a check engine light and will address that later. First upload of pictures and I will see what happens.

Default 08 XKR Wheel size

Wheel size I thank are the largest you can put on the car.
Front: 265/35R20 9" wide.
Rear: 305/30R20 10.5" wide.

Welcome to the Forum! I like your sense of humor, especially about fishing. Since you're from a "drinking community with a fishing problem ", I thought you'd appreciate this bit of wisdom from one of my favorite philosophers ...

The pictures are a bit fuzzy and I'm using my phone, but it appears that your 2008 XKR has Adaptive Cruise Control (4 rotary controls on the steering wheel) and the Alcon Performance Brake Package (red calipers). Did you do the steering wheel mods and the //R badge above the glove box, or the previous owner? They're tastefully done.

Can you tell us more about those wheels? They look great on your XKR. Do they fit without spacers? Do you know the brand and model?

You made a great choice! Hope you get everything sorted soon.

Default Niche Wheels

Stuart S, as to the options on the car, this is the way I got it. As stated it does have a check engine light and I think I got it figured out. I should have walked away but I saw that it had some good options, brakes, steering wheel and 16 way seats. The wheels are from Niche and there are no spacers. There are some PN. on the inside of the rims, next time I'm under there I will document.

Thanks for the better photos of the wheels. They're not Alcon brakes, as the rotors are drilled and slotted. Alcon rotors have crescent-shaped grooves. Those Niche wheels probably won't fit over Alcon calipers.

Does it have Adaptive Cruise Control? It does, if there are 2 rotary controls on the right side of the steering wheel.

Welcome aboard. While the XKR will not solve any fishing or drinking issues. It will make getting anywhere much more enjoyable. Good lucking ride!
