New Member...Carfax Help Please!
Congratulations! I think you'll be very happy with your purchase. Besides the incredible power, I believe you'll be surprised at how tight the suspension is and how solid. Enjoy. See you a little later.
Update! Bob (Grtshrk) bought the 2012 XKR and completed the transaction early this afternoon. Forum members Ralph and I, met Bob for lunch in West Hollywood and somehow got three consecutive parking places. (pictures below) Bob's new 2012 is a spotless, gorgeous black beauty, with red stitching on warm charcoal interior, simply exquisite. He's driving back up to northern California as we speak. He seems very excited and once he gets out of the crawling pace of L.A. traffic and onto the open highway through central California, I think he'll really be impressed.

Met with Ted and Bob this afternoon and saw Bob's new cream puff. great car!! Ted took some pics of the three cats; hope he posts some. Bob, after you get home let us know how the drive was.
Guessing that the odds of getting 3 consecutive spots in West Hollywood are pretty slim... seeing all three lined up... gorgeous!
Congratulations on your purchase, Bob! I'm sure you'll be thrilled.
I'd like to add a 2012 to my stable within the next couple years, but until then I can live vicariously through threads like these!

Great photos of the 3 Jaguars....thats a rare photo indeed. First night out with the car. He may decide to sleep in it rather geting a room on a long drive home.
Very nice.
Bob said he had already put a deposit on an Audi S5 which he withdrew once he pulled the trigger on the XKR. Both are terrific cars but the XKR just has something special about it. I'm sure that by the time he gets home tonight he'll be a fully committed convert.
Good morning to all! If you've read this far you already know I pulled the trigger on the 2012 XKR.
Completed the transaction and promptly set Ted up with the task of arranging my first Jaguar meet-n-greet. He gave me the location of the meeting and even saved me the one and ONLY spot in front of the restaurant! Ralph joined us a few minutes later. As we ate outdoors, the other spots around my car opened up and I asked the two of them to pull their car into line. What a great sight! All three cars have their own distinct personality. Ted's looked incredible FAST just sitting there (He has the Mina front splitter, Mina side skirts and a very cool rear diffuser) and Ralph's car with the top dropped (Operated with his key fob...very cool!) was STUNNING. We talked modifications and about the passion these cars bring to the driving experience. A perfect first day of ownership. Thank you Ted and Ralph!
PS. I made the drive home in good time, arriving just after midnight. Was tempted to sleep in the garage with the car, my girlfriend had to resort to extreme (and sexy) measures to lure me into the bedroom.
