New way the coolant is routed out of the water pump

Does anyone have the TSB that explains how these new hoses connect into the existing system. I know C2Z28467 connects to the thermostat but want to verify where AJ813565 connects into the system for 5.0 non-supercharged

Need TSB on revised coolant routing out of the water pump
I have found this, a not very clear description of the change, but hope someone can post the relevant TSB or clearer directions.

I had to do this update when my crossover tube failed this summer on MY 2011 XK. I hope the accompanying photographs will help.

Please elaborate Is this the method that Jaguar is following when a crossover pipe fails in the 5.0 engine? Does Jaguar have to adhere to this or just replace the existing crossover pipe with the same part number at the same location it was originally situated? Or is this an advisable procedure even when replacing a water pump to avoid future water pump and or crossover pipe failures? Sorry...I'm not sure I totally understand this thread. Thanks all.

I had to do this update because my crossover pipe failed, plus my water pump, although it was not leaking, had excessive bearing play and was obviously on last legs. I caused another problem by breaking off the vent tube connection that clips into the top of crossover tube, and therefore it had to be replaced as well.
If you look at the TSB, parts 4 & 6 are replaced by parts 5 & 7. IIRC the total cost of the new hoses was about $36.00 each. I then had to get a new vent tube and that was another thing altogether. The IPC is very unclear about it and that caused an interesting exchange with the parts dept man that only ended when I produced the old vent tube. I also replaced the water pump and its connection to the oil cooler that is situated behind the water pump. Replacement of the crossover tube requires you, at the very least, to unbolt and lift the intake manifold.

If you order a replacement for hose #4 in the pdf you get #5 that has an extra hose connection but no information where it goes. You have to buy #5 & #7 to make it work. Jaguar changed the coolant flow path and just superseded part numbers but it appears not a lot of parts departments know what to do or the existence of a JTB/TSB. I've been asking forum members to really understand how to connect the hoses. Apparently this flow change has helped with the abnormally high failure rates of water pumps.

Any difficulty removing this small 5mm hose? Is it just push with screwdriver and pull the hose end?

I do not have a copy of the TSB, but the installation change is quite obvious when you have the new hoses in your hand.
Look at the top two pictures in your posted page of the IPC, on the left you'll notice the vertical 1/2" dia hose (#6) has a small 1/8' hose attached, on the right side showing the updated hose, that 1/8" dia hose (#7) is gone. Also on the right side the new updated large hose (#5) has a small 1/8" dia hose attached. Note the small hose in both pictures connect to the the water pump in the same place. That's the change.
RE removing the small hose from the water pump, that is an intersting exercise. It does work as advertised, but space is a little restricted. Push in on the surround, and at the same time pull gently on the small 1/8" connection. It will come out.

the older version (aj12141)connected to the water pump which

has now been bypassed with part # c2z28467

It doesn't, if you look at part AJ813565 you will see a hose barb connection but it is blanked off. See this thread for the same question and more pictures. https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...number-177352/
