Finally got the summer wheels on … vertini rsf1.8 in custom titanium tint . 20x9 ET34 and 20x10 ET17.. the wheel style really allows the Alcons to shine i think. The Sentas seem to hide the rotors and calipars as bit more than these do. I really like to lower it but I just don’t want to deal with all that comes with a lowered car.. ie parking curbs and steep driveways

Reason: Adding some info

I think the black is a little bit over done but still looking good
I agree. Shadow Grey is like a chameleon. It keeps changing color because it's a metallic paint with flakes that reflect different shades depending on the viewing angle.
Posted in another thread, but I'll also post it here............just because.
New XKR grills (upper and lower) from Welsh Enterprises. I like the look. What do you think?
Do you find that 20” wheels affect the speedo/electronics?

Am curious because there is a set of wheels off an F-type that are nearby that I’d like to try. But I don’t want to mess around with the ABS or any other electronics.

Nice looking car by the way!
The wheel diameter doesn’t matter, it’s the tire diameter that will affect your speedo reading. So when I changed from 19” to 20” wheels, there was no change, as the tires on the 20’s have the same diameter as the 19’s. Plenty of websites that let you compare tire sizes and the affect on speedo readings.

Am aware…but thanks for the reminder.
I am wondering more if the reduced sidewall height or overall tire choice to keep it in spec makes for a harsher ride. I should have really asked the question that way.

Ok, totally different question. If you’re going from 19” to 20”, the 0.5” sidewall height reduction will introduce a bit more harshness, provided the tires are like for like. If changing tire manufacturer or tire model, the sidewall stiffness also changes, and will be reflected in the ride quality (a soft sidewall on the 20” could ride smoother than your current 19” tires).
Another thing, the tire pressure recommendation for 20” tires is higher than for 19” tires, which also makes the ride harsher (using my car’s placard pressure values for the original 19” tires, made the new 20” tires ride mushier than what they should be, and firmed up after finding out the values posted on the placard of cars originally equipped with 20” tires).
I assumed you were thinking of going from 19” to 20”.

Exactly on all counts. Now I need to check offsets!
