Default oil pressure

i'm looking into the elm 327 bluetooth set up. In looking at past posts it seems like there is no oil pressure input sensor to the OBDII. Is that true? Does anybody have an idea where in the oil gallery one could be installed?

I do not believe you can buy an oil pressure sensor that would work through the OBDII system connector. I have to believe there is a way that the factory can tap into a fitting (like the low oil pressure warning switch) and install a OP sender which you can attach to a gauge either in the engine compartment or located in the cockpit. When I had an OP issue on my Fcar I installed a parallel gauge to verify the electronic gauge was reading correctly (see pic).
