Default Opinions wheels, please!

Looking at changing my wheels again. Your opinions please on these wheel options, 19" v. 20", wider rears, etc? Thank you in advance.

You have my vote on the MISANO rims. I find they fit the cars design. They look similar to these HRE wheels:

Yes it was the P101 on Maxima's car that inspired me last year….

Consider the Braelin BR03 Wheels.......you will save thousands of dollars vs the HRE Misano P101's. The Braelins are custom drilled and bored for your Jaguar. A few forum members have bought this brand. They are imported and sent to you from Canada. Consider the strong US dollar vs the Canadian Dollar.

MHT/Niche makes the Misanos. A full custom (specs & colors/finishes) forged set is half the price of the HREs and they make cast alloy versions for only $1000 for a set of 4, but staggered is only available in 19" matte black. The Targas are available in 19 & 20 staggered.

I'd say Misanos, prefer a 19" on our cars anyways. Mine came with the 20" Sentas and it just thows me how little rubber there is. Guess it depends on how good your roads are.

I'm sure you can always repaint them if you want a different look but flat black with the Lunar Grey should look sweet.

Maybe the Misanos, but without that horrendous Transformer center cap.
I prefer 20" wheels, but the roads around me aren't bad.

I think the cap is stuck on for the pic, they don't come that way from the factory. The Jag caps should fit as the boreis the same.

Roads are fine here but I'd like a bit more rubber plus I'll lose a bit of the empty space around the discs. Downsides Are can't reuse my tires, only one color choice and no wider than 9.5 so no 295 wide rears.

I've been leaning towards the Misano, then I found these, XO Luxury full custom sizes, bolt patterns & offsets for very low prices, between $1400-$1800 for a full set. Decisions, decisions...

I'd go with the 5 spokes in 20" and definitely go wider at the rear for more traction.

Personally i don't like black wheels, but that's me. I like chrome and dished.
Anyway i came across these that look interesting and i do like the twisted spoke design if that's the kind of wheel your after.
The white band round the rim is usually a protective piece that comes off for storage.

20" alloy wheels gmp fits Jaguar -xf/xk (no tyres) 8.5/9.5 staggered | eBay

Don't care for black either so I'd have to have them recoated, also don't like deep dish or chrome, maybe because most of the cars with wheels like that in Florida are American muscle cars or low-riders.

I do like those you found, they remind me of an F-Type wheel option. I'll look into those a bit more but I recall finding a brand of wheels a couple of years ago in Europe that I liked, but shipping was a bit dear and warranty service a bit difficult here in the States.

I have been advised that you are better of with many spokes (say 8 or more) If there are a significant number of potholes where you are driving in order to reduce the possibility of wheel and tire damage. Just another datapoint to consider.

I think that's right, but the more spokes the harder they are to clean. If I was changing wheels I'd get the ones I could fit my hand into to wipe with the sponge rather than the little wedge bit, and I'd get them concave so that they didn't get kerbed by my crappy driving.

I really like the options above, though.

If you'd like to swap your 20's for my 19's, just let me know!

As i said i do like a shiny wheel, should have gave better detail, i too don't like the chrome as on some cars a bit pastic looking as jahummer said " a bit low rider, but mine are polished spokes with a polished stainless steel lip. 20" RS FUTURAS, I love them and they are easy cleaned with not much dust issues. Since pictures i have put H&R 15mm on rears and 20mm front spacers on. Wheels are 10"" rears and 8.5" fronts. They were the same offset as my sentas i took off.

These ladies might make you up a set, you could take your time deciding, no need to rush a bid decision.
