Default Opportunity to Buy a Rare 2009 XKR Portfolio Cvt

Until now, I've seen only one other 2009 XKR Portfolio Convertible equipped exactly like mine (see https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...ertible-45154/ ), so when I saw this one for sale on eBay I decided to bring it to the Forum's attention.

Click here for the eBay ad (while it lasts): Jaguar XKR 2dr Convertible | eBay

This 2009 XKR Portfolio Convertible has just 36K miles, 2-tone Ivory and Slate interior, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Alcon Brakes. It has aftermarket wheels, but the OEM Selena wheels are readily available.

Asking $44,800. But at that price, I'd buy a nice 2010 XKR with 510HP and only 17K miles: Jaguar XKR XKR Convertible | eBay

Nice car, someone will be a happy man/women. The wheels are to big IMO, and i have lost the liking of wooden trim. My old xk8 had beige with walnut. I thought i would miss the look and when i got my xkr i thought the inside of black and aluminium look trim was a little bland, but now i love it. Feels modern and sporty.

I'm old school. To me, a Jag without wood is a Porsche.

I've been to that dealer (with the 09 PE XKR) before, just before I bought my XK, to test drive an 07 XK coupe, just to make sure I'd be happy with an XK vs an XKR (as there weren't any XKR's in my color choice at that time, and I'm an impulse buyer).
I didn't buy from them, but they did have a lot of nice cars to choose from, although they did seem a bit pricey.
