P2610 code
Started my 2007 XK after being rested for 3 months; got a CHECK message, code reader showed P2610; reset, went away, restarted 2 times, didn't come back (yet).........so will it? , if so, how to Fix!!
Thanks, cheers, Adrian

P2610 is ECM/PCM Internal engine off timer performance. Possible causes are:
1. ECT sensor fault
2. Ambient temperature sensor fault
3. Body processor module fault
4. CAN error
If there are no other DTC's indicating a specific sensor or module fault, it is likely to be a spurious error after the "rest". A good drive and a fully charged battery should be sufficient treatment.
