I am running 2 codes I can't clear. After searching it looks like code P1582 is a dealer only code, Flight recorder data.....LOL, this is not an aircraft. The second code is P0480 that seems to be a cooling fan relay. Some would suggest getting an entire new cooling fan assembly but I want to just try the sensor that would negate this code mounted to the fan. Anyone have current experience with these code? From what I understand it takes a PDU, WDS, or IDS to clear these check engine lights. I am more worried about the fan sensor than the flight recorder is stores, throttle monitor data is stored code P1582

 

Ignore the P1582 as it's harmless. The other should self-clear if fault fixed or any OBD tool should clear it (your law says this, and Jaguar seem able to obey the law).
