Default Paint peeing on gear indicator plate of 2007 xkr

It appears the decal is peeling off on the gear indicator plate on the center consuls is their skin replace it or can the top plate be replaced any suggestions

Try spraying a thin layer of plastidip?

my chrome there is peeling badly. looks like ****. incredibly expensive to replace.

I never pee on my gear shift or any other part of my car, maybe I would consider if it has jelly fish stings. I am a giver like that.
