Default Pairing Samsung Galaxy S4

I just bought a Galaxy S4 phone and cannot pair it to my 2008 XK convertible. I was able to pair my iphone & windows phones easily. Any tricks needed to pair the Galaxy S4?

Sorry to say it doesn't work completely on my 2007. Pairing works, I believe you need to make the phone discoverable via the bluetooth menu and search both on the phone and the car, in the car I think its under the change phone, add new option under the telephone menu....eventually they see each other, then select the car on the phone.

The problem is that none of the contacts come over properly...their names are just garbled. Everything else works fine.

Good luck.

Go to the Jaguar bluetooth compatibility site: www.jaguar.com/us/en/owner_support/bluetooth You will be able to get information there.

Which Windows phones were you using successfully in your XK?

I had the HTC arrive that paired. The only issue was that I had to go into the settings each time on the XK touch screen to get the audio to work.

I finally paired the Galaxy S4. I needed to check the box on the phone to get it to say "visible to all nearby Bluetooth devices"
