Parking assist module

Parking assist module
I am really missing front parking sensors so decided to add them
The module I have now is a rear version only
Bought a used front + rear one and all the other stuff to perform the upgrade
A known issue is that many modules are usually have the donor car VIN, but not all modules
If it has the wrong VIN it will make a mess once installed
Now, how do I know if the parking assist module has a VIN written in it’s software?
If it does, is there a way to reprogram it or I should install only a brand new module?
Thanks

That's the good and the bad with the forum
One can post anything but can't assure a helpful reply
I am not sure Brutal is around anyway and he sure is one with the vastest knowledge around here
I got an input from a second hand supplier:
As long as the part numbers are the same the only thing that will happen is that when the unit is scanned for faults via obd there will be a fault code for incorrect vin stored, it won’t cause any damage to the rest of the car or affect the way the unit operates.
With suitable diagnostic equipment the vin number can be relearned from your car to eliminate the stored code, although it’s not necessary.
Also looked again in the technical books available. In the one explaining about the car electronics and SDD there's a note warning not to use control modules from donor cars but who knows what is the real reason behind this...
Not sure if it's ok even to try connecting a used nodule
