I wish I could help with the number but I had the same situation and couldn't locate one. My solution was to drill a small hole through the flange on either side then run short screws through into the lid liner material. I found some black colored button head sheet metal screws which makes them barely noticable.

I think this might be it: C2C1539

They seem easy enough to order. £6.31 plus postage from Jaguarclassicparts.

May I ask why a handle is required inside the trunk?

I have one on the hatch, but it open a lot higher.

Mine had a bit of a problem also. I just added a gob of JB Weld on the back where the broken part was so it would hold. Three years later and it is still stronger than the original.
Course, £6.31 plus postage from Jaguarclassicparts would be a great option also.

It stops the paintwork getting scratched when people close the trunk using the body work - especially if you catch a ring or a metal watch.

I don't have any pictures of it, and sorry but I really don't want to tear out the boot liner just to take one as a couple of the pins are also questionable at this point.
Not a big deal though, as I used the JB Weld Steel Stick putty-type stuff. It is sort of like a roll of clay; cut off a piece and squish it for a few minutes with your fingers to get it mixed then gob it on the back where you need it. Really handy stuff, as it isn't runny liquid like regular JB Weld Epoxy.
